I just posted my latest video this morning about my Drama at AMC last week and I have now received 2 comments pertaining to me "copying" another YouTube personality. One was received a while ago and I let it go but I wanna make myself very clear & I am absolutely going to defend myself because I will never, EVER, copy someone else. There is a guy on YouTube named Gregory Gorgeous ( Greg as I will refer too) and The one person sent me a personal message saying how rude it was to copy him and do makeup video's and things like that, the other comment... posted today stated " You need to stop copying Greg and don't act like you don't know who he is". It was brought to my attention about 2 months ago that Greg was like me as far as being Fem and wearing makeup goes so I looked him up. I also wanna say before I get detailed that I respect what Greg does. We are all apart of YouTube but I have no need to copy him whatsoever. I did research and browse his video's and I have made many video's before he has... and The ones I make. He mysteriously will come out with weeks later. I.E: What's in my bag... Lady Gaga Music video & many others. I also noticed that he has not worn makeup since he started. That was transitioned but I personally Have been wearing makeup for years. I am also not saying he is copying me but I can back up my facts of doing certain things first because the dates are shown on the video's themselves. The heels would have to be the last point I wanna talk about. I have been wearing heels from my moms closet since age 4 & my music video showed me strutting multiple pairs. He never wore heels before until one day he is wearing them in a video ?? I just wanted to explain to those who question my authenticity that I have always been original and that's why so many people love me and what I do. If anything, I inspire others to be themselves and don't give a fuck what others say. But I was also going to talk about Trend Setting but I will be doing that In an upcoming video of mine so stay tunned <3 and Stay FABBB & FIERCE !

Workout Routine

So I firmly believe that as long as you are exercising very well and maintaining good habits, you can eat almost anything and not worry about the fat being pounded onto your sides. My issue has always been my tummy. No matter how many sports I played or how many jog's or laps in the pool i made... It didn't matter. So now that the warm weather is here ( because I can't seem to workout in the cold) I am back on track to trying harder and stop making excuses. I saw a new ad spread of my man Baptiste Giabiconi & said to myself... I want that body. So I kicked off my workout regiment with a 10 mile walk yesterday around my city. The entire journey from my house down to where i reached and back is 12 miles but I couldn't do it all; my foot is still fucked up from the beach so it was killing me ! When I got home I jumped into the pool ( which felt amazing !!!) and then did some laps in there and finishing off with a shower. I am gonna try to do that distance at least 3 times a week or more to not only work my legs but the core when I'm going uphill. We shall see what happens  <3 Im really motivated because I was waiting for the weather to be better and now it Is !

Black Swan ??? ....

So who's seen it ??? Natalie Portman is everyones favorite it seems, except mine. I remember all the hype going around and people were raving their asses off. It's probably because the woman on woman action or maybe they appreciate the "amazing acting"... ( Being VERY sarcastic) I have not seen the film... nor will I ever see it because of the reviews from people that understand real cinematography. Some of my close family sat down while I was getting ready to go to an event the other night and half way through they said.. " Should we even continue".. and they ended up watching the rest to see if it might change and get better. The final review was it was ridiculous, crazy, and made no sense. I would think that for a woman who received best actress.. The movie itself would be on point. I earlier remember reading articles on various sites about Portman not thanking her dance double in the movie when she made her acceptance speech. Now to me, being a dancer.... I would be pissed ! Some people say.. "She received best Actress... not best dance performer , so get over it". I won't get over it because acting in a movie includes everything your part entails. The best part is I know that the really difficult moves were not performed by Portman and that brings together the film, because it's around Ballet. As the dancer's double I bet that really hurt as someone who has dedicated her entire life to the sport... she didn't even receive a Thank You ? I have lost ALL respect for Natalie Portman, and that's very rude, and low minded of her to leave her out... NOT even later addressing her after the dancer spoke out about it. Shows you one side of the industry... people want all the credit for themselves.

Graduating Class Of 2011

So I attended my best friend's graduation yesterday & it was very emotional to say the least. I met her four years ago and we built our friendship all through high school. It's just funny from my perspective how everyone thinks they have so many friends, but once you graduate... sorry to bring you back to reality; You have no one except maybe a couple close friends. High school is built upon becoming popular and knowing more people than others and people may still know who you are on lets say ( Facebook or Twitter) but they are NOT your friends.. they are just associates. There is a difference. I just thought I would point out that conclusion. I also wanna say congratulations to all my good friends who are the graduating class of 2011, I'm not gonna put names but you know who you are. Can't wait till I'm done ! lmao ! <3 xoxo

1 Year Anniversary !

So Today marks the one year anniversary of me moving to La Verne. It was one of the most enduring things I have ever done because I was thrown into a completely different world and situation. It was one of the best things that could have happened. I love this place so much; Quiet, Beautiful, & Classy. I'm much closer to where my life is, in the City of Angels. Oh and let's not forget I no longer live in San Bernadino County. haha! But it's just so crazy to believe it went by that quick... I remember walking into our backyard and I was breathless! Saying to myself " This is what I'm gonna call my home", and it was so surreal ! MY life has made such a 360. The only thing I could say is i've gotten a lil bit comfortable and I need to put that Nos back in my blood. <3 Here's to one more year. xoxo KANDY

It's Personal, It's Private...My Life (5/11/2011)

My life is pretty much an open book when it comes to everyday things. I make videos and talk about stuff that goes on because not only do I find it a way for me to express myself but people are interested in what happens on a daily basis. This is something that I would normally not just throw out there because it is so personal and it involves my direct family, but I became such a strong person after and that is why I want people to know. My situation has not always been glamorous and Fierce like everyone thinks. When it comes down to it this was a sliver of the abuse I went through but it's enough for you to get a picture. ( This is referring to my facebook post this morning) I had so many people message me clueless when I thought much more people knew about it but didn't; and I won't be getting TOO personal because it was very serious and still is but i'm gonna tell everyone the general synopsis of what occurred. Last year I was in a very bad living situation because it was under a roof with my dad. In short, my dad has never accepted who I am as a person & therefore I received the short end of the stick every time. There was an incident one evening where it got very heated in our home & my father ended up getting very abusive, which was nothing new. But it went to a whole new point. While words hurt enough, he proceeded punching my mother directly in the face. After that, I pushed my dad to the ground, immediately defending my mom. After that followed what I thought was the worst night in my entire life.  My dad grabbed his cane & shoved it in the side of my neck. I was kicked in my groin by my own brother and my entire life flashed in front of me... Literally ! My mom finally got to the phone and called 911 & in a matter of 10 minutes (that seemed like 5 hours) we had 20 cop cars on our street as well as the ambulance & fire trucks. I was rushed to the emergency room and my dad was put in jail where he belongs. The most puzzling part of this story is that the next morning my dad was released because he payed the bail & his attorney got him. No matter what he did ( me being a minor at the time) he was released, because in our sick society you get released when you have money. After moving on with our lives and moving away from my hometown it took over a YEAR for him to be convicted. And as of today (May 11, 2011) he was sentenced to 180 days in jail (taking weekends) which accumulates to over a year that he wont have a free weekend. I also have a restraining order against him for 3 years which will be then re-nued at it's first expiration. It's just complete validation ! I haven't been this happy in such a long time, and Justice was FINALLY SERVED ! Haa And Thank you for reading the entire post if you made it this far down haha <3

KANDY in the Army ?

I received a letter today from the SSS which is a part of the military. This just pops a couple of things into my mind. It's mandatory for all "men" to sign up or you face imprisonment or a fine up to $250,000. In a time where gay rights are still very scarce, and many who wish they could be in the army cannot I think it's absolutely ridiculous that this is something that's mandatory. Not to be a bitch, but it's also kind of selfish of the ones who are fighting for those rights because what about people like me. Do you think i'm gonna be in camouflage killing people ? NO! It's fucking stupid ! I hate separating myself but I have to because we are not represented; Only looked past. I want to rip up this paperwork, and be very stubborn but I can't because I am required to sign up for this because I was born with a penis. Absolutely Absurd! What do you think about this ? And if you know me or someone like me, can you see me in the army ? ( If I was you know I would be rocking some colorful shit) Don't ask, don't tell my Ass ! I'll go around shouting exactly what i'm proud of being. <3 Thank You very much haha

"Just Can't get Enough", What comes after Drama ?

I am now listening to this song, which has defiantly grown on me the past couple weeks. I want to focus on talking about exactly what the title says. If your in a situation like the one i was in and lies were spread & they make you look like a bad person, don't stoop to their level and don't try to make things right. That was my mistake, because by trying to make everything right you look like you should be blamed for everything.  You have to just move on and what comes later, will come. Only surround yourself with positive people and live your life. It took me about a week to get over everything because I could not fathom how immature the situation was and how much bullshit was tied into it. I surrounded myself with my best friends and a new group of friends as well, and i've had no problems since. I always remember (relationships or friends) that there is a Billion people out there and your bound to find one who is perfect for you. I am now stronger, yet again because I got past more bullshit and I'm doing much better. I would love to get personal but their only so much of my life I will announce to the world, at this time. haha But I don't need to surround myself with a broken, kindergarden, indecisive relationship and lying people. When you get rid of it, the good only follows.

Working IN Beauty Retail

For many, you know I work in the Beauty Industry & I have seen a lot of Bullshit left and right. Im going to highlight some of it as far as sales go and the classy things i see on a daily basis. The most common thing besides a purchase in a store is the returns, right? Yes... we all know this but what's most annoying is when I see unusual things being returned. Hair extensions, Nail Polish, & even mascara are my highlights. WHY are you returning hair extensions ? To me, personally, I would never return them because it's gross ! These women know that they tried it on and wore it out for a night and want their money back because they think they have that right... and in a way they do because our store's return policy is far to lenient. The point is it's wrong and they know it is. Another one is the nail polish, these things are just items that you RISK purchasing and if the "color", does not match well you picked it. Don't be ghetto as Fuck and return them. It just really annoys me to see how many people try to get one up on a company. Aside from the returns, they will do things like come in an return free gifts later on without the receipt  and some ring up for a considerable amount of money and we have to give them the store credit. It's basically giving them a free shopping trip and people KNOW what they are doing is wrong. I am a very strong believer in karma and that is not something I mess with. If i knew i was trying to scam someone or an establishment for my own personally gain, I would feel really bad about it. ( It would never happen in general) but you know what I mean. blah blah haha ! The joys of seeing people be evil, and working in the retail market. And coupon scams... omg i'm not going to even go into that ! lol

Followers... Don't ruin everything!

"I have known about Alexander McQueen for years". "I knew about Lady Gaga when she was running the club circuit". "I think Philip Tracey is so amazing... because everyone else wants a hat he has designed" .... My point in this post is it gets so irritating to see so many good things go bad. Honestly, I do remember gaga way before many even knew who she was and even when I met her 2 years ago she was not as big as she is now. Everything explodes and it's a need for people to say they knew about them before the artist was big, just to look cool. It's disgusts me; people who wanna fit in so badly they would lie about petty shit like that. You could even tie in the sports aspect, "bandwagon"? It's even more annoying when you have actually known about certain things before they explode and you see liars in action. My family is partially from Wisconsin, so when the Packer's won... Naturally it was a celebration for us because we have always supported them. But days, weeks, and even up till now you see much more packer's stickers and banners on cars and houses just because they won. Does this bother anyone else ? I know i can't be the only one who feels this way. Just be honest and stick to what you know and don't feel the need to lie just to make yourself look better. It won't get you anywhere in the end.

MAC's "Fashion Flower", Collection Review

I visited my MAC store this morning after I was finished with school, so naturally I was the first to see it lol. But Basically, as usual, I love 2 lipsticks ( Mlle & Growing Trend) I also loved all 3 Lip Gelee's ( Fashion Flower being the most luminous, Now in Season being the gold tinted one & Budding Beauty being a nice coral color) Be aware I also looked online to see what the swatch pictures look like and the Budding Beauty looks nothing like what it dos in person, and surprisingly it's not too sheer. If you want high shine and sparkle the LipGelee's are for you. As far as the miscellaneous mascara goes, I never wear their mascara's anyways ( because they are nothing special). I am not usually into the eyeshadows in collections either, as previously stated but I did like 3 from this line including Aqua, Lucky Green & Bows and Courtesy's. And don't even get me started with the "Beauty Powders". Alpha Girl ( The mild pink shade) could double as a blush by glancing at it but when applied things are totally different. Along with the other "Light Sunshine", they are more like Translucent/ highlight powders and do nothing for me.
Overall it's cute. Nothing tooooo Amazing lol

A Lazy Generation ?

I have noticed a big shift in work ethics for many people. I think about this a lot because for some reason it bothers me. If i discuss things having to do with "work", or "hard work", with anyone older than forty years old, they make it seem like what we are doing does not come close to what they were doing at our age. It's one of those things were i sit back and say "Are you doing enough right now"? I know that i'm not a lazy person by any means but a lot of people out there are. That's none of my business what so ever & I don't really care what others decide to do with their lives but it's kind of depressing seeing some people do absolutely nothing because they have no motivation. I talk to my grandma on a very frequent basis and she always encourages me by telling me what she has done & It makes me wanna take more on at one time. I've always been a very ambitious person & competitive as well but most teens these days want things handed to them without working for any of it. It's just one of those brain blowers. haha ! The most important part though is, the excuses ! Those make me laugh more than anything, and I understand jobs are hard to come by right now but when I see picky individuals who ONLY want to work here or there... it's like hunny ! you can't be picky ! Everyone has to start somewhere. Most people don't believe me when i tell them that i did anything i could when i was younger to earn some money. ( Wash cars, mow lawns, clean pools and houses, clean/restore high end handbags) I have done it all. I guess where this was leading was that many Americans ( & others as well) need to learn the value of a Dollar. I work my ass off partially doing what i love and part taking shit from people who don't know much more than i do. It's how our world works sometimes but when a dollar means something to you, your work ethic becomes stronger. Do you have a strong work ethic ?? hmmm lol

MAC Launching New Collection: "Fashion Flower"

You didn't hear this from me but I expect the collection to be in my local store this week. I am really excited for this collection because there is really nice blushes & lipsticks. I'm not always a fan of the eyeshadows they come out with because as we all know, they just spin off most of the permanent eyeshadows. The coral & pink lipstick is what i am looking forward too and the LipGelee's look cute for a sheer shine. Things are also different when you go and swatch the colors so who excited ?? I have some photos below of the Collection. Call or Visit your local MAC store to ask about the release date near you. 

The Final Result ( To The Drama )

So, with the Situation regarding my drama I talked about in my latest video. It all came down to Lies & assumptions. We are no longer friends after I received a phone call at 4:30am talking for 37 mins about nothing other than how "I was wrong". I apologized and no matter what I said, nothing was going to change. Another thing I wanted to point out was he didn't want me to make anything "public", even though my life Is an open book. He said I was not very mature for talking about it but I have been nothing but mature about it. I waited a week just to talk to him, and it's funny because the video got his attention; like I knew it would. It's just really too bad because I trusted him, and he trusted me but because I talked to too many people about it, they twisted what I said & it turned into a big lie. I'm not a liar. I was nothing but truthful in this situation & all I wanted was to remain friends but jealousy foreshadowed the situation AND he didn't want to admit that (his bf or Ex), or whatever they are now... was flirting with me. That would be hard for me to take in as well but you talk about things directly.. Don't believe everything you hear. Get it from the source. Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know how things went because a lot of you were supporting me and I really appreciated that. I don't have many close gay friends, because of shit like this. In this case, It might take time and we might be close again but the phone call ended very dramatically with " You have a good life", bye ! And as far as his best friend twisting what I said, I wanted to say I don't appreciate it & that was a big factor to me and him remaining friends. Now it's off my chest. I'm gonna miss him and It just upsets me... but If he didn't wanna remain friends it also shows me that It was not that strong of a connection in the first place. This song is a major booty poppin' song ! I was at a club in WeHo (West Hollywood) last night & they played it. Now keep in mind that I have heard it at home and loved it already but when that club Base was thrown into the equation... The song was 500 times better ! I wonder if her album is gonna be a booty clap album ha ! I hope so ! I know this song has been under a lot of criticism but when it comes down to being a dance ( have a good time) song, it's perfect. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt. 1

So I just rented the Movie on ITunes & surprisingly I thought it was gonna be long movie but It went by so quickly due to the fact I was in my comfortable bed. (ha!) But Anyways, I feel like the movies always end at the most inconvenient points. I get really annoyed because it's all coming together and of course they leave you hanging! Whatever ! I know that now I have to see the last movie & Im excited for it ! Who else watched it and loved it ?
